The Opel ‘Blitz’ was first designed in 1930 and became synonymous with quality vehicles.
The two dimensional marque and visual identity required a complete refresh to reflect the more dynamic and technological aspiration of the brand. The new refreshed ‘Blitz’ badge and VI was applied to all communication platforms and products
The new Opel identity was launched following the creation of three brand books. The first defined the brand philosophy, the second focused on visual identity principles and the third on application guidelines. An aluminium box set was produced to store the books.
