The new packaging for Ecover washing up liquid was designed to disrupt industry stereotypes. Bold, transparent, defiant, clean: Modern, new Ecover taps into the feelings of a new generation of conscious consumer to whom ecological is not only cool, it’s critical.
Developing the project further, Redesigning the packaging of its laundry detergents and softeners was the brief. Aimed at consumers in mainstream supermarkets, the look needed to clearly signal that this eco-brand cleans better and with a more beautiful fragrance than chemical brands. Delicate, modern, botanical illustrations decorate the packaging while a technology mark for efficacy adds gravitas.
